Olive Nyinawumuntu

Olive is a certified project manager with over 15 years of experience in the banking industry.

As a certified project manager she has successfully Managed diverse range of projects including mergers and acquisitions as well as core-banking system upgrades. Olive has developed a deep understanding of the sector.

Olive has held various key positions in the banking industry, showcasing her expertise and leadership. Her most recent roles include Head of Business Projects and Branch Operations Service Excellence at BPR, and she currently serves as a Senior Manager for Projects at BPR Bank PLC.

Notably, Olive played a pivotal role as the project manager for the merger between BPR (part of Atlas Mara) and KCB Rwanda, which resulted in the establishment of BPR Bank PLC. Prior to this, she successfully managed the merger between BRD Commercial Bank and Banque Populaire du Rwanda.

Olive’s educational background complements her professional accomplishments. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences from Makerere University - Kampala, and a Master’s degree in Project Management from Devry University - California Los Angeles. Additionally, she is a certified project manager by the Project Management Institute in Pennsylvania.
